About the Artist
Loren was born on the day they tested the atomic bomb in New Mexico, 1945. Diane was born the day they dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. We have never figured out the significance of that information but feel as though it is significant.
We have been friends and partners since 1963. We brought two children into the world, and are lucky now to call them our friends. Our earlier lives centered on the idea of gathering knowledge and information thus acquiring a number of different degrees.
In the early 1990’s we were in a number of major automobile accidents forcing us to shift from the “normal” life to a life that was more abstract, a life that was shifting outside the normal realm of society. It was during this time period that we started to open up more to the possibilities of other realms of existence.
I have been calculating the vibration of stones to the Chaldean system of numerology, which is the energy of “NOW.” I have gone through many books calculating the various names of stones to determine their vibrational rates. In looking back at the time it took, I feel it was well worth the effort.
The information and calculations of the Numerology Chart is not provided via a computer based program. All the information is calculated manually on purpose because there are no programs presently available to cover everything we feel we need to do this process.
First Element: In designing a Custom Piece, my idea was to calculate your current name using the Chaldean System (which is according to the sound of each letter using numbers 1-8) to determine your fortunate number. Jewelry would be created to enhance your fortunate number or a piece of jewelry could be created to raise or lower your names vibration rate to a fortunate number that suits your personality. I truly feel that this method is a very useful way to successfully alter the vibration of your current name.
Second Element: Your full birth name and birth date (your blueprint) would be calculated using the Pythagorean System. This system was developed by Pythagoras (using numbers 1-9), who taught numerology as the “inner science” and mathematics as the “outer science” in a school located in Italy. In the event you do not have a fortunate name, I look to your birth name for assistance in determining possible numbers that could be used in cooperation with your current name. It may be a missing number. It could be a predominant reoccurring number throughout your name.
Third Element: This is the actual intuitive selection of stones and the programming of the selected stones (by Loren and Diane) that enhance your vibration if you choose to have a piece of jewelry created for you or a friend.
