27, The Scepter

Posted by Loren Mickelson on May 22, 2010 in Fortunate Number, General, Information, Stones

Today, May 22 is a 27/9 Success Number.  For the people born on this day, you are inventive and intuitive, but are inclined to be nervous and high-strung.  You have magnificent potential and need the self-discipline of your birthday number to make the most of your talents.  You dislike routine work and need a job that will allow you to use your visionary powers.  You can succeed in the arts and sciences, as well as any field that measures up to your ideals.  You thrive on challenges and are resilient in crisis situations.

27 is an excellent, harmonious and fortunate number of courage and power, with a touch of enchantment.  It blesses the person with a promise of authority and command.  It guarantees that great rewards will come from the productive labors, the intellect and the imagination, that the creative faculties have sown good seeds which are certain to reap a rich harvest.  People with this number should always carry out their own original ideas and plans and not be intimidated or influenced by the diverse opinions or opposition of others.

Some stones that vibrate to 27/9 are Alexandrite, Amethyst, Ametrine, Aquamarine, Fluorite, Onyx and many more.

Solar Quartz… helps you connect to so many places and things.

Posted by Loren Mickelson on May 6, 2010 in Fortunate Number, General, Information, Jewelry, Stones

The other day a client had the number 19/10/1.  19 is one of the most fortunate and favorable of all compound numbers.  It is known as, “The Prince of Heaven”, because it indicates victory over all temporal failure and disappointment.  It is symbolized as the Sun.  With this in mind, I chose the stone Solar Quartz which also vibrates to the number 1.

The Solar Quartz contains all healing properties of quartz … connecting to spirit, providing clarity and strength… but additionally you will feel the emotional uplift triggered by this special variety instantly. Looking into the stone is like looking through broken ice into the deep undercurrents.

Solar quartz is a natural colorless, white or gray agatized quartz cut from stalactites. The centers of these stones are translucent with dendridic mossy inclusions. Probably the most versatile multipurpose healing stone, quartz amplifies energy and healing, draws and sends energy, and stimulates natural crystals in the body’s tissues and fluids to resonate at new healing frequency.

When I hold and look at solar quartz it immediately draws me into the center of my physical being.  Once inside, it feels like a worm-hole opens up to connect to the central sun.  It is better than a ride at the amusement park.

Quartz is said to bring the energy of the stars into the soul.  Traditionally, the natural quartz crystal was said to both harmonize and align human energies, thoughts, consciousness, and emotions – with the energies of the universe and to make these greater energies available to humanity.  The natural tendency of quartz is for harmony and it is recognized as a stone of power.

I truly feel that solar quartz is the connection between the physical dimension and the dimensions of the mind.  It can be used to communicate with minerals, plants, animals and intelligent forces outside of the physical dimension.  In early times when all things were thought to be conscious parts of a greater living consciousness, the quartz crystal was believed to synchronize the individual and total consciousness with that of the heavens and the advanced life-forms.

Quartz can also be used to transform thoughts into sounds, producing the vibration associated with the thought and affecting the environment with the discharged energy.

Jet, light like amber but very grounding!

Posted by Loren Mickelson on Mar 27, 2010 in Fortunate Number, General, Jewelry, Stones

Jet vibrates to a 10/1.  The number 1 stands for new beginning, origin, source, Earth and grounding.  The color black represents 0, nullify, empty space, void, depth, vortex, and absence of color (absorbs all).  This stone for me is very powerful because my fortunate number is 55/10/1, 10 being the fortunate number.

The energy of the word JET… J – the Cornerstone (activates the nature of the letter) helps to increase the memory for both knowledge and experiences.  E – the Keystone (helps carry out the initial action of the first letter) is open to the future and balances the material and spiritual world. T- the Capstone (indicates a destination or chosen path) is balanced and is always searching for spiritual answers to questions and truth.

Jet is known for clearing the aura for impure energies and is an important stone to have in your medicine bag.  I often wear jet when creating jewelry so only good vibrations go into the piece that is being created.  When creating pieces of jewelry that include, multiple stones, I often use jet for the grounding element.

Jet, when combined with Moldavite can assist those who are trying to do void meditation work.  Jet is a great ally to all on the spiritual path due to its perfect combination of protective vibrations.  Jet can facilitate the release of negative behavior patterns and old emotional attachments, freeing the individual for rapid personal growth.  Jet can be used in combination with virtually all other stones for healing purposes.  It has a calming effect on people as it integrates higher vibrations into the lower chakras and brings a soothing sense of wholeness to the individual.

As we are progressing and continue to increase our vibrational rate, we are finding it more difficult to ground (stay in your body.  Look for Diane’s blog – www.drsmick.com/blog  on grounding).  We continue to look to stones for help in the grounding process.  Jet is one of my favorite stones for this because not only does it assist in grounding; it also offers assistance with protection.  When you consider all the energies flying around, you have no idea if and when you need to protect yourself against them.  It works like an energy filter for the wearer of the stone.

Jet is known as a traveler’s amulet for protection against attacks and accidents.  It has also been revered as a protector against illness and also violence.  People were often buried with jet to protect them in the afterlife.  By having jet close at hand, it could help you feel calm and possibly help an individual who is depressed.

It is also known as a stone of good luck.  Jet is a great gift for the person starting a new job or beginning a new business pursuit.  Jet can bring clarity to a confusing situation by bringing unique insights from many different perspectives.  For those who are facing many issues, trials and tribulations will appreciate Jet’s supportive energies.

I have included a few pictures of this stone so you have a reference point for it.  I welcome your comments and suggestions for future posts.  Don’t forget to sign up for e-mail updates.

Fortunate Number Necklace for Diane (fortunate number 6)

Posted by Loren Mickelson on Mar 3, 2010 in Fortunate Number, Jewelry, Stones

In getting ready for the trip to Sedona, AZ. Diane suggested I should put together a fortunate number piece of jewelry for her that I could put on display.  After calculating her numbers, I started the search through the inventory of stones that we have pulling out the stones that are possible candidates for the piece of jewelry.  Even if I have calculated her number to be “6”, the focal stone for her piece may be something else that she needs to enhance her at this time.  The smaller stones that go on the piece will be her fortunate number.  So this piece for Diane will be more personalized than normal.

The focal stone that spoke to me the loudest was a large faceted piece of clear quartz.  In thinking about Diane, this stone would not be one that she would choose to wear.  I know I had to put that information aside and continue to go forward with my gut and intuit the remainder of the piece.

When I actually start the creation process, I first select what I would consider inspirational music on the CD player.  This seems to help manipulate and encourages everything to flow more easily.  Once the music is selected and playing is when I start to measure and cut the sterling silver.  Then the winding of the wire begins.  This is the part where it feels like I totally get lost in the designing the piece of jewelry.  I never know what is going to take place when the wire wrapping begins.  I have all the stones selected waiting to go when the piece calls for them.

Some wrapping of wire, some weaving, some spirals, some twists and turns and I am almost done with the wrapping.  Then come the stones.  Oh no!!! The wire I have is too big to go through the hole in the stone.  That means a trip to the store.  The size of wire I had was 24 gauge fine silver.  What I needed to get was 28 gauge.

The store was out of 28 gauge so I ended up with 26 gauge and it worked just fine.  All the stones were added and the piece was finished.  Multicolored tourmaline, jet and tanzanite were the stones that were added to the clear quartz.  It is interesting that Diane has always been drawn to these stones.
